Yay and phew. What level are they setting it to? You'll only have to grind out 500 pet battles in Draenor now, instead of the original 1k. :) Yay for that. Though we're still going to eventually grind out the 2000 battles for the garrison pet monument/achievement! :P Though I'll just wait 'til an e...

As an addition, with access to rare stones being a lot easier, not to mention a lot of us have dozens of stones left over from MoP, a lot of people will just be grabbing one of the new pets and stoning it if they don't get it rare off the bat. So we could literally be "done" with Draenor pet battles...

Has anyone had any luck with the Bronze Whelpling on the Beta or PTR? I've spent a few hours farming for it with nothing, so I'm fearing its a really low drop... that or it isn't in yet.

I got both Ikky and Meadowstomper on my Alliance toon. Ikky was waiting for me at Veil Terokk after freeing him of his egg/feeding him.

Found the final spore pet, crimson spore was where I thought it'd be, in the Crimson Fen, southwest corner, coming out of Tangleheart, turn directly left and jump up the mushrooms!

Holy moly there are a LOT of new pets added. 600 pet achievement is in, reward is Stormwing, he looks pretty awesome

Nah, it can be summoned by typing /summonpet brilliant spore

This is likely similar to the MoP beta when pets were added before being put in the journal, they'll remain hidden but still learned, and will be shown in the journal once they're given proper models and abilities

In regards to the spores, I'd be willing to wager they all come from vignettes on mushrooms around the world. Umbrafen spore came from Umbrafen in SMV. Crimson spore likely comes from the red mushroom grove in Gorgrond. Zangar Spore from maybe the northern border of Nagrand... I'm currently swimming...

Found the Umbrafen Spore pet, you can learn it, but it doesn't appear in your journal. /summonpet umbrafen spore summons it, but its a balloon at the moment ><
