It was never tradable to my knowledge, I got mine early legion. It was a quest reward not a drop like the other chest rewards for the various legion factions, so therefore there wouldn't be any in banks. Keep trying though my friend has been trying on multiple toons too.

I understand what the OP is saying, though. At least with Mini Tyreal, and the CE pets, they are obtainable, though rare and expensive. Baby Blizzard Bear, Vampiric Batling, etc, are actually impossible to get, because the event that they're from is over. No way to trade codes or transfer the pets....

I think a mini version of the Abominable Greench is in order. WOW has a few pets that are mini's of ingame NPCs so it is keeping with what Blizz already does, but what a cool pet to have with the same abilities as it's papa for pet battles.
