Has anyone else had trouble leveling this pet? I put him in my leveling spot with two other pets, but when I enter pet battle, his spot shows as empty

The the staller!!!
I'm not usually one to complain, but to the person running Nether Faerie Dragon, Celestial Dragon, and Emmigosa, you're a complete douche. I ran into this person several times and it was clear their triple dragon team had zero chance to beat the team I was running. I beat them handily the first few ...

Re: PvP Prestige pets can be bought on opposite faction
Yeah unfortunately I'm in the camp of "leveled up and geared up a toon specifically to grind to prestige 7" and now... I just want all the many hours I dumped into that venture, back. :( I mean I *just* hit rank 7 a couple weeks ago on that alt, so this feels like a massive slap in the face. Happy ...

Re: Wailing Critters - What did you think?
I will point out though, that most people don't have 800+ pets their stable. If someone goes in there with a smaller selection, I can see how could difficult for them. Especially since there is a considerable amount of backline damage. If Blizz created it order to get new people into the pet world, ...

Re: Wailing Critters - What did you think?
I went in blind. Hadn't read any guides (was semi-inactive on pets for awhile and wasn't keeping up with news) and had no clue before I started that there were no heals. Didn't even heal the pets from the first run. Once I got in there and saw what it was, my strategy was simply to save my heavy hit...

Re: 1000 Pet Achievement
Honestly, I doubt that they'll have a huge reward for this. (5k PvP wins for a few achieve points, anyone?), but if they do, I'd like to see them give access a special vendor, much like the ethereal soul trader, except that the vendor allows you buy pets that you don't currently have access to. The ...

Re: My Collection (When-How)
I started collecting pets as a way to kill time between expansions. Over time, Pet PvP became my favorite part of the game

Re: Crusher team suggestions please
I've never been a big Crushed user, but one of my all time favorite teams was built around the SS Ore Eater. Bone Serpent Ghastly Kid Ore Eater I actually earned about 1/3 of my total wins with this team (although most were pre-Graves). I usually open with the Ore Eater. Once his shield expires, jus...

Re: Pet Battle Royale - Cast Your Vote (May)
this is an easy one to figure out. Just ask yourself which of the three has the best chance of winning in a one on one scenario. The Valk is usually optional to the whole strategy, so we can eliminate her immediately. The Water spirit, while powerful in the combo, isn't really a power hitter on her ...

Re: Whos working on the 1000 wins achieve?
I hit the 5k achieve toward the end of last year. Honestly, I'm a little sad about it, because my drive to pet battle sort of petered out at that point. Now that I don't have to kill time waiting for pet queues to pop, I've kinda lost interest in the game in general. Hoping the new content is enough...

Re: Pet of the Month - Peddlefeet
Peddlefeet can actually do pretty well with certain PvP combos. I've seen several teams that use his Rapid Fire pretty effectively when combined with lightning storm. Assuming your opponent doesn't have a weather changer, you're tagging every enemy pet for about 200 pet round. I personally don't run...

Re: No helpful video guides on YouTube.
If you are using the stone to level your first pet, then I personally recommend the Darkmoon cub. It is fast, easy to get, has a self heal, and can usually solo the critter fights in the Valley around Halfhill. The critters also respawn quickly there, and thanks to the heal from Devour you rarely ne...

Re: Why aren't we fighting against other players?
I agree. I was excited the day that I got my 5k pvp achieve. Then I looked around and wondered "What now?" I have no more achieves to get, no more benefits from continuing to battle. All of my pets are 25s except for 5 or 6 of them. And just like that, I went from a die-hard pet battler (both pve an...

Re: The Search For Equilibrium and The Perfect Team
A bone serpent, ghastly kid, ss ore eater destroys this "perfect team". The ore eater is faster and immune to the dots for four rounds, and carries a dot/heal of his own. Nether gate against the ghastly kid opener faces your imp with a faceful of bone barrage from the bone serpent. The darkness coun...

Re: Solution to Backline Damage in PvP?
I don't know about anti-aoe, but I have a very effective anti-graves team. I pair my own Graves with a Magical Crawdad and Hyjal Wisp. With the crawdad and Wisp both using Wish, they can keep Graves alive for a very looong time. Pair that with the wisp's high speed and evasion, and the crawdad takin...

Re: Graves in PvP = he wrecks!
I've got 4740 PvP wins, and honestly I expected to have 5k by now. Unfortunately, Graves has slowed me down considerably since 3 of my go-to teams feature an imp doing back row damage. I have come up with a Graves counter, but it gets squashed by pretty much everything else. So anyway, I decided I m...

Re: Graves observations
Fotm teams are the ones that are so overpowered that everyone is running them. There have been no real OP pets since WoD came out. The broken pets that made fotm teams possible have been fixed. Those that I "rattled" off are no longer OP. Sure, clonedance teams still exist. That's because it is a go...

Re: Graves observations
Flavor of the month pets get run out by creating balance... Which is what we've had for months now! Since WoD was introduced, Fotm pets haven't really existed. Previously broken pets, like the Idol and Valk, were fixed. Other than Murkalot, there have been no truly OP pets. As I mentioned earlier, f...
