Yeah, or... make us all wait until the Fire Festival starts.

Re: Qiraji Guardling
Yes, as Skulwolf says; on the beta were fairly fast-spawning, all around the Scarab Wall in Silithus (both sides), with a few (like the Scarab Hatchlings) in the instance area (not in the instances themselves, just the territory). Shouldn't be hard at all to catch once they appear... I'm still annoy...

Likewise. If I think I'll using it battling, I'll worry about breed, but otherwise it's just rarity.

Engineering-created pets
Didn't see this posted elsewhere, so I'll mention if anyone happens to need any of these (except the Personal World Destroyer, because I'm gnomish engineering) I can make them (even the lifelike mechanical toad) on my main and transfer them to Gorthran for delivery. Just let me know; might be a dela...

Re: Recruitment - Member Introductions
Hey all. Will be shortly making a new character (Gorthran) and looking to join; have been a pet collector on my main (Bilgoltin, on Scarlet Crusade) since the beginning (back in vanilla WoW). It's all my brother's fault, he started right when WoW was brand new and said I should try it... and years l...

Re: Curious Wolvar Pup - Get it now!
The wolvar pup is definitely the better choice for battling, although the hatchling does have some cute animations. Yeah, making some of them tradeable and some not is... odd.

If it follows the same "pattern" as the Snowy Owl, it should be May 1; but I'm not going to hold my breath.

You do still have to beware of the abilities like Scorched Earth and Stone Rush (that self-damage the attacker)... they can be a real pain.

Re: Terrible Turnip bugged??
Say the Libram has 428 health total, and 107 left; a turnip hits it with a WB for what should be 268 points raw damage, which gets adjusted to 214 (50% of its life), then applied (without checking for the "not below one"). So the Libram dies. Although I think it's been changed to 40% now, but the ex...

Oh, I like them well enough once they're leveled; my Lost of Lordaeron is one of my favorites. It's just getting them there that can be painful.Threnody wrote: Please don't hate my Spirit Crab. He's awesome Especially against Aki the Chosen.

Re: Just For Fun, Are There Any Pets You Hate To Level?
Undead, just because there are SOOOO many critters running around. Once you get them over 20 or so it's usually easy enough to finish, but getting them there is a pain.

Re: What's the one pet you just can't seem to get?!
To make a long story short (too late!), I did get my mangy, poor quality arctic fox kit... Is it worth using a battle stone on it? Are you going to actually use it as a battle pet? Do you want to maximize your "pet rating"? If either of those is "yes," and if you think getting a rare will take more...

Re: New Carps
P.S= anyone else find farming relaxing, in some kind of way? :D Yeah, actually. I don't think it'll be any worse than the "Limnologist" achieve was before the nerf, when you needed to catch all the "bloated" fish too. That worked the same way -- sometimes you'd get 'em fast, sometimes it would take...

If you want good damage and survivability, I've found Clockwork Gnome works well. He's what I use vs. Fezwick (DMF pet battle) and he hasn't died yet.

Re: Pebble - Lost in the Deeps
Likewise, it took me quite a while to get him, checking every day and waiting on the quest. Fortunately I was doing it on a mage so 'porting around was easy (remember there's a portal to Therazane's Throne from the Temple of Earth once you've done the chain). It did happen eventually, and he's one o...

Re: My planned lineup for Darkmoon Faire Trainer
I use Crimson Whelpling, Water Waveling, and Darkmoon Zeppelin. I've found it's a LOT simpler if on match start I don't get the opponent I'd like (e.g., whelp vs. eye, waveling vs. tonk, Zep vs. monkey, depending on what I start with) to forfeit and restart; I don't actually know if a token costs le...

Re: List of Pet Battle Bugs
I've had a few times where an enemy cast Cyclone on me and once I killed off the pet that cast it, it stopped doing anything and just sat there until the dot wore off. I've noticed that for most DoT/debuff abilities, killing the caster stops the damage/effect, when it seems it's supposed to be stil...

Re: The insanity of Breed ID's
Not only that... but if you're not going to actually battle and level with the pet, why do you need a rare? Yes, if you're trying to assemble the best team you can, rarity and even breed ID are important, but other than that... :? An example for me was searching for a rare Emperor Crab. After killin...

Re: Pets not being counted towards achievements
Also there are some wild pets that sometimes don't appear as captured on the achievement tracking but are actually counted when you get them, like the Devouring Maggot, Feverbite Hatchling, etc., and will show up when you complete the achievement.
