Re: Longest pet battle?
I think the Blossoming Ancient is too good and should be nerfed a bit. Photosynthesis is fine on pets without Sunlight, or on pets with limited damage like the Sunflower, but the Ancient having Sunlight, Photosynthesis, as well as a shielding attack makes him pretty ridiculous if you don't have a ha...

Re: Celestial tournament question
Does anyone know if they are adding anything to the Celestial Tournament vendor, like new pets? I have all the current pets and a few extra coins and I'm not sure if I should save them or just spend them on pet biscuits to level up some more pets.

Re: Grommloc - thoughts
I guess it's just a difference of opinion. I don't think the pets that cost cash should be the best battle pets, in my perfect world they would all be basically vanity pets: cool looking, unique moves and movesets, interesting animations, and yes they should be decent and useable in battles, but I w...

Re: 2 pet Christoph VonFeasel anyone?
Just popping in here to give mad props to Gardenvariety -- when I read his idea of a Scourged Whelp & Mechanical Squirrel, I immediately saw the potential, tried it, and it's the most solid 2 pet team I've used yet. Wonderful job!! I made a video here: [url=http://youtu.be/NEnZxG17rLA]Murloc Harbor...

Re: Syd The Squid
Did anybody manage to beat him with only 2 pets already? I was able to two man him with an H/H Scourged Whelpling (Tail Sweep, D&D, Plagued Blood) and a Mechanical Squirrel (Metal Fist, Armor Plate, Wind Up). I haven't really fine tuned it though, there might be a better combo. I think the Squirrel...

Re: Grommloc - thoughts
I think he is exactly what he should be: unique moveset, unique stats, unique look, but not overpowered. I hate hate hate the idea of blizzard selling pets for $40 (or even the $10 pet store ones) that are superior to all the other pets available through in game means. If it was up to me Murloc, Rag...

Re: question about decoy and power leveling
Yes this would work. Another easy way to lvl pets from lvl 1 is doing the fights against trainers when none of their pets do any AoE/backline damage. Just plan the fight so your first pet dies, then on the death round you choose your lvl 1 carry pet, then before your lvl 1 can even take any damage y...

I two manned him today with a Scourged Whelpling (Tail Sweep, D&D, Plagued Blood) and a Mechanical Squirrel (Metal Fist, Armor Plate, Wind Up).

Re: Pet of the Month - Feline Familiar
Must admit that I rarely use the Familiar for trainers or PvP. I have a lvl 25 Feline Familiar but I haven't really found much use for it. Most of my pets are leveled through tamers, so I don't really need it for wild pet lvling, I feel there are better suited pets for tamers (P/P Emerald Proto Whe...

Re: Must-have Multiple Breeds
I like to keep a couple different Crows around, the P/S breed is a nice balance and the S/S breed is good for PvP and tamers where you need a speed advantage (for example Dos Ryga, starting with the S/S Crow using Peck, Call Darkness, and Murder guarantees that he will have the armor debuff for two ...

Re: Battle-Stones (lower drop rate with 6.0?)
It feels pretty much the same to me, doing the Pandaria Tamers/BoF + the 5 world tamers that drop bags I still usually get a few stones per day.

Re: did they nerf pets or boost nitun?
I just chip away with undead pets. Mr Bigglesworth is good, since claw does extra damage and after prowl you have the speed edge and can use ice barrier to block his massive hits. Follow it up with Spirit Crab and use whirlpool on the round when you die (first death), then swap in a lvl 24 pet for t...
