Pet battles are just following the main trend in WoW -> dumbing down.

Flayer youngling, Nordrassil Wisp, Fel Flame, speedy Rabbit, Tiny Harvester, Spawn of Onyxia, Restless Shadeling, Skywisp Moth, Eternal Strider.

@Awq , the notion of having three submitted teams befirehand sounds perfect. One could bring one of each family and cover every counter with abilties ( in theory).
