I started a thread for Squirt power level strategies then I read this. Zapped it. Kinda want to get some last minute power levels in. I got 2888k but it was a level 16 pet. I was half joking, as I'm not sure how many Blizzard folks read these threads. But yeah, best to get your powerleveling in now...

Pet battles are just following the main trend in WoW -> dumbing down. I think adding the ability to "breed" pets would be interesting though. There should a reason for pet gender to exist. right? ... If WoW was really dumbing down, the legendary quests/raids would be way easier than they are now. P...

I'd suggest setting your hearthstone to your MoP hub and visit the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Once you have a level 25 pet or two under your belt, you can bring along carry pets to snag XP.

I did a Black Temple run last night, and snagged [pet]Abyssius[/pet], [pet]Sister of Temptation[/pet], and [pet]Leviathan Hatchling.[/pet] I'm going to take my other level 90/100 toons into BT on runs today and hopefully snag a fragment. If I get lucky, I'll get Illidan's music roll.

What bugs me is that all of the "up high" abilities (Devastate, Lift-Off, Launch, Meteor Strike, Proto-Strike) don't do ANY damage now. What's the point of having them if there's no pay-off?

For new collectors, I'd definitely recommend the rocketbots (Blue clockwork and the Mountain Dew promotion Warbot). Reliable attacks, easy on the wallet, plus you can get them from world vendors - no need to spend RL coin or wade through Auction House listings. If you don't have the [pet]Iron Starle...
