As far as routes go: For Horde... Here's mine. It's probably horribly inefficient, but works good 'nuff fer me. Start @ Garrison (garrison chores), hop to Ashran (daily AH& Bank), then Tanaan. Fly south. Ashlei->Vesharr->Draenie -> Tarr the Terrible ...do a flyby over your garrison... Garga->Bright...

I've not the most glorious collection nor battle record. However,
I've found that with most of the Draenor/Pandaland trainers, the right two pets is the most efficient way to take 'em down, using the third slot in case RNG really really hates you that day.
