Thanks so much everyone for the input. I haven't gotten back in there yet this week but am glad ya'll have given me some alternatives now to try if my former strat still doesn't work.

Maybe I had some bad rng, or made some error that derailed the fight. I will do it again next week after reset and see what happens.

The team I've used in the past (that failed today for the first time) is Tolai Hare H/S (2 2 2), Stormstruck Beaver B/B (1 2 1), and Spiketail Beaver H/B (1 2 1). I used 3 dragonkin pets. Prob any comb of strong dragonkin would work. I used:
Chrominius 1,1,2
Emerald Proto-Whelp 1,1,1
Nexus Whelpling 2,2,2
