We'll call if "A song of fire and ice" for folks that get that, and "Christmas in July" for everyone else.
Who Anyone in WCP, MM, or PP is welcome, so long as you're above level 10 so you can join the raid group.
When July 19th, 7:00pm server time.
Where To be determined
What Level 25 pets, no team switching between rounds. Pet list is as follows:
Fiery pets: Anything that is fiery red([pet]Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji[/pet]), looks like it has fire on it ([pet]Lil' Ragnaros[/pet], [pet]Corefire Imp[/pet] etc), hot ([pet]Pierre[/pet] etc) or has hot skills (scorched earth etc).
Icy pets: Anything that is icy blue ([pet]Nexus Whelpling[/pet], [pet]Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen[/pet] etc), things that are icy ([pet]Frigid Frostling[/pet] etc), or have cold skills (ice tomb etc).
Singers: Any pet that has a singing skill. (Soothe, Inspiring Song, etc)
Just because you're using a pet that fits due to any skills it has, does not mean you have to actually use those skills. As always, if you have any questions, let me know!

are there more pets that "sing" besides the cricket and the sunflower? I am having trouble picking a 3rd pet for my team

The turnip also has the inspiring song skill. You don't need to have 1 from each type on your team, you could have 3 fiery or whatever if you want too. If folks want we can just add "birds" to the list, since birds generally sing (though they don't seem to have any musical skills in the wow pets world).

striders sing you to sleep. lambs do too. i'm sure there are more but I need more coffee.

Right! The Soothe skill says "Sings to the target, causing them to become drowsy." Good catch!

Question. Does the team have to have one pet in each category? Or does it simply need to fit one of the three requirements?

The pets in your team just need to fit somewhere in these categories. You can bring any combination thereof. For example, you could bring two fiery and an icy, or three singers, it really doesn't matter. It's merely coincidence that there are three categories to choose from.Jrshoe wrote:Question. That being said, I think in the future it might be fun to have a "pick one from each list" tournament. We'll have to think about a theme to make that work somehow
****EDIT*****
Our winner was Duress (Fu) with the team of Winter Helper, Rotten Helper, Tiny Snowman
Our runner up was Axsess with the team of Chi-Chi, Fiendish Imp, and Corefire Imp
It was winter vs imps, pretty fun!
