PvP System Broken???

I resumed work on the Deadly Pet Brawler achievement about two weeks ago and have experienced queue times between a few seconds and a couple of minutes for about 600 battles in that time. Last night about midnight central time, I sat in queue for over 20 minutes before I gave up. I haven't been able to get a battle at all this morning and I don't see anything posted about the system being broken.
Anyone having the same problem or know about a problem?
