Did they change the rules? Isn't it against Blizzard ToS to trade SS for in game stuff? Is Bnet Balance a loophole or do users just not care?

While blizzard does not necessarily support the trades of bnet cards and in store items, they are not against the TOS. It's an at your own risk sort of thing. So if you chose to do so and got ripped off then you are pretty much SOL.

As for WCP, theyare fine with Bnet balance trades since it's a blizzard product. they don't want people trying to buy pets by sending money orders, cash, or paypal. SO the trade of bnet balance or giftable blizz store items and even most code items are acceptable. Just as long you are trading one blizzard item for another.

Also, when it doubt it's always good to hit the report button and let a mod decide.
