I see a lot of ppl offering Blizz store pets for trade. I would like to get some, but idk how this is done. I don't want to unwittingly compromise my acct security.

I've traded pets with ppl from this site before, but it was all done in game via the comfort of the trade window. How do I trade a pet or gold to someone else for a store pet?

Well you won't be giving out any of your account info. Blizzard store pets and mounts can be gifted to people via email. So you find a trade that works and you hand over whatever pets you agree on then the other person buys the pet and puts in your email address and the code is mailed to you from Blizzard.

Since it's done by gifting as Faelar explained, this sort of trade really relies on trust. I can only recommend that you try to make deals with folks who have an established trade history here when possible, otherwise just use good judgement and listen to your own instincts.

I hope someday they will allow the in-game trading of store pets.

It's pretty much trust.

Hopefully you find someone with a high post count and you can search for thread where people have said they are good traders.

However they are still likely to want you to go first, as you have no rep.

Never trade in this fashion something you cannot replace. Blizz Store pets are a 'safe' gamble.
