I messaged you this afternoon. Responded to the message you sent shortly before you entered Highmaul and received no response in return. I assume this meant you do not desire to work out a trade.

I never got a reply I've tried messaging you several times today. Maybe one of us is bugged or something. I definitely want to work out a trade though.

FYI battlenet has been up and down all day, sometimes without error messages. I was trying to do a trade earlier and essentially talking to myself, as my messages weren't going through.

Best "fix" right now is to make initial contact via battlenet, and then roll a toon on the other person's realm and talk via whisper or party.

Turned out it was a bnet error. Only one of the messages returned an error message and I didn't even notice it at the time else I would've logged in the game. :\
Trade completed after we figured out the problem

I can confirm this bnet issue - I had several people say they were trying to msg me yesterday and this morning someone said they never received my msg via bnet :/
