For now Quen the 200k pricepoint is actually realistic. Unless there is some change to how that pet spawns it is a really annoying pet to get

I didn't state if it was realistic or not, simply wished him luck The ones I've seen go on Kil'jaeden have gone for 15-30k but apparently that was before Warcraftpets set its official price bar.

Ugh I wish I could find one for even around 75k. That pet must be a real pain in the butt to get. I've tried a couple times but my realm is a disaster on that isle. And being able to do it once per day is even more annoying lol

it wasn't an official price, it was one person really, really wanting the pet and was willing to pay that much.

I know I wouldn't blink at dropping 75k-120k on my realm right now. Unless they hotfix this pet or change the spawn in some manner it is just a total annoyance factor

And yet...I've watched 5 people in 3 days get the pet without even knowing it's existence on my server. I watched a Feral druid pop 5 of the Scary Sprites, killed 2, died to the other three and got the pet. They had no idea about the pet.

To be honest, if he popped 5 Scary Sprites (those are the rare elites), he got VERY lucky and chances were in his favor of getting the pet in that situation.

I've done the event everyday thus far and have a healer with me or heal a friend, and I or my friend will just AoE the crapola out of everything while getting healed, most we've had spawn in any situation was 2 (also note we're both fairly geared) Elites, with a bunch of little Angry Sprites everywhere. ;P There was also a day where my friend must have killed about 100, maybe a dot less, of the buggers and no elite spawned. Some have claimed it's the number killed, but I don't know about that. Maybe it is and it carries over *shrug*. Seriously though, that guy was very lucky in either case.

I don't think the value is 200k, value is what people are willing to pay, annoying to get or not. One person does indeed not equate to the general populous. Half of why there's not many on ah is because its unlikely to be accidentally found, if you get one to drop you were most likely looking for it.

On my medium-low server, the crystal to activate the event is very, very rarely up, with the only way I've ever been able to get is via camping it. Combined with a once per day attempt, the abysmal spawn rate of the sprite, the abysmally low drop rate of the actual pet, it's understandable that the value is really high atm. Very low supply+high demand. That being said I already traded off the pet.
