From the official FAQ: Players who participate in at least 50 rated Arena Pass games on one character and with the same team will be eligible to receive the Armored Murloc pet for their live characters. Notice it says participate, not win? Yeah, 50 matches. You can do that with your eyes closed.

it's still Murkumus. It's a total blast to do for anyone that doesn't have it yet though, did it in '09

does this require a fee? ive never done it in my 8 years of wow, and id love to get murk

Can anyone confirm its still the old pet and not the new datamined one? Any source or proof? Blizzard just says Armored Murloc. I just don't see why they would put in the Tyrannical which is MoP PvP season now before Arena Pass and then not use it.

I got the old one, hassle finding people last few days in /2 so ye, get groups together in here where people have the same goal, namely the pet. I suggest everyone reading the Arena Pass minisite/FAQ on WoWs website, a lot of useful information regarding the different training weeks etc, start and end dates, eligibility for reward.

Would have thought if it was a new pet they would completely glam it up and market it out upon announcing it started would be strange, plus picture change if they did change the pet one would guess.

I would be interested in a team for the Arenapass 2013.
