New Pet Charms
Post
by Waterlilly » May 22nd, 2018, 11:47 am
So, I hopped onto the Beta the other day and went to empty my bags at a vendor and noticed I had 5 of the new Pet Charms in my bag. I am scratching my head because I don't know where they came from.
Anyone who plays the Beta know how they got there?

Was it "Shiny Pet Charm" or "Polished Pet Charm"?

"Shiny Pet Charm" is the new name for the old "Pet Charm". If you did any of the old content that would reward "Pet Charms", then that's how you got them.

I'm curious; Which way are you spending the Pet Charms?
The way I see it, we can always level up more pets, right? But catching something "right", can never be made rare without the Battle Stones. So best off purchasing those stones before the Prepatch, or?

Absolutely, buy battlestones with existing Pet Charms before the pre-patch. These charms cannot be used to buy battlestones once the expansion is here.

Gosh, really? Thank you! I missed that; I just thought they would cost more.

What about the Legion purple battle stones that you use to raise a pet to lvl 25? Can we use these on the BfA expansion pets? Should we be cashing in our Legion charms for these as well as the blue stones to make pets rare?

You can still use the purple battlestones on pets in BFA.
I stocked up on some of those as well as the quality upgrade stones. Pet levels will come, with or without the help of battlestones, though. Quality can only be upgraded either by catching a higher quality pet or upgrading via battlestone. So I would consider the latter to be more important.

i am agree with that.
Leveling pet is fun and i love it....
Farming for catching highest quality or special breed is no fun

( at least for me) specially on those rare spawn ones....

Makes good sense to get a supply of both, especially if like me, you find leveling ordinary, low level pets tedious. I have a shell-load of charms and will allocate accordingly!

I discovered the pet charm change the hard way: Vent to buy a stone for a gray pet and discovered that i couldent buy them enymore. Searched the new charm and found this post, 6 days to late. Im so angry at Blizzard. They could at least have send a mail.
