Will it be possible to get the Legion Class pets in BfA?

I have been procrastinating about earning my 3 DK class pets as well as the Rogue, and DH/Warlock class hall pets, and then I reviewed the requirements today and am now like OMG I'm screwed. Does anyone know if they are going to change the requirements to not include the AP on the weapon ? or somehow change it to allow one to still get these pets after BFA launch (or even pre-patch)?

Blizzard has said that there are no plans to remove the class pets in the expansion. They've also [url=https://twitter.com/WarcraftDevs/status/1008844880108326912]stated[/url] that you can still earn the class mounts in BFA, and since the class mounts and class pets are closely related that should mean the pets will still be collectible.
