Oct. 7:
Two new pets

• Void-Scarred Pup - Drop: Visions of N'zoth - Orgrimmar
• Void-Scarred Toad - Drop: Visions of N'zoth - Orgrimmar

Two new achievements

• Pet Battle Challenge: Blackrock Depths (no reward)
• Shadow Stopper (reward: Kelpfin PH) (meta-achievement)

There appear to be stages for the new dungeon. It does seem to be providing some clarity/finality? to the story of the pet dungeons dating back to WC. Several new named tamers (comprising most of the fights).

The First Challenger: Defeat Horu Cloudwatcher in a pet battle.
Uncaged: Defeat the uncaged beast.
Futile Resistance: Defeat Therin Skysong in a pet battle.
Desperate Measures: Defeat the uncaged creatures.
They Have a New Plan: Defeat Alran Heartshade in a pet battle.
Smash it Up: Defeat Zuna Skullcrush in a pet battle.
The Final Countdown: Defeat Tasha Riley in a pet battle.
They Spent Years on That?: Battle against Pixy Wizzle and defeat their "powerful weapon".

New abilities:

• Void Nova
• Void Crash
• Toxic Fumes
• Contagion Strike
• Jade Barrier
• Void Cyclone
• Locust Swarm

Surprised this hadn't been posted about at all here yet. One of the recent PTR builds added more to the BRD pet dungeon. They have a whole write-up of the additions and how it works (so far). Quick notes:

-It takes place entirely in the Arena at the beginning of BRD
-It's all boss/tamer fights. No random wild pets or "trash"
-The shadowy figures from WC, DM, Gnomer and Stratholme are all present/named/not shadowy
-The rewards for completing both BRD and completing all 5 pet dungeons are toys, not pets (one makes you appear shadowy like the shadowy figures, the other allows you to control your pet for 30 seconds)
-There are 3 pets on the vendor for 1, 2 and 3 currency items, respectively (a lasher, a mech bear and a mech saber cat)

Elune be praised! As fun as Deadmines is, I'd rather gnaw my own legs off than do a full instance run again.
