combat log addon

so during a pet battle I want to see the Pet Battle Combat Log. as well as the chat tab
but outside of a pet battle I don't want that log cluttering my screen
I've spent the last couple of hours first trying to find an option inside WoW to do this and then fruitlessly* searching for an addon to do it. so now I'm asking for help. any suggestions?
*well not completely fruitlessly. I ate a banana
