Hello there!

I've recently re-created a battlepet scanner (alpha stage) which uses blizzard's api (my previous one was scraping sites). This program can get all battlepets' prices from over 20 different servers,both EU and US (my testing limit, although there isn’t actually any limit since it can grab a server's prices within 5 seconds), and evaluate them .

Features:

• it can produce a table for each pet's prices starting from the lowest (it scans any pet amongst 20 servers)

• it can sort all pets based on price so you can find which server has the cheapest specific pet

• it can evaluate historical data (atm a week's long data) and monitor which pet has dropped its price a lot

• it can sent notifications to dedicate discord channel

• It can manually scan for prices or log to my server to grab the hourly collected ones. All scans and the output are instant.

The upcoming features will be:

a) Further Push notifications on browser when a pet's price drops a lot(configurable)

b) Monitor somehow sales (i know it’s not accurate, especially on pets)

c) QOL things (like search field(fixed), etc)

d) maybe add mounts also

The question that occurs to me is why I would use that instead of https://magpie.wow-petguide.com/eu/dashboard - maybe you could explain what extra venefit it brings?

heya m8! to be honest , i haven't used that site at all , so my opinion wont definitely be just.
By the looks the site seems to be in a different(higher) level than my app.

• Atm my app can fetch instantly prices from any server(i am listed over 50 servers , both eu&us) on demand in each pet.

• it keeps historical data(every hour for 1 week) for every pet in every listed server...and compares instantly between them , to find out if there is a price drop(you will be amazed how many drops over 70% we have every hour)

• lists the cheapest price in every pet in the sever found

• and i am having some kind on notification , both on discord and on gotify

• lightweight since you can run it from .py without the need of the browser(uses bliz api for the data)

since it is on development , i am planing in the following days to add a few goodies in it(mounts, etc)

* Create custom server list to grab deals.
* customize the results more , by adding custom values.
* Create a shopping list and grab deals based on your desired price limit
* Compare 2 selected servers , and print all the pet's prices and the price difference between the 2 servers.
* Re-work both on server/client code to act instantly and keep historical data both on default and custom server list
* Ready to get updated with the upcoming 9.1 pets
