Worth of the Crawling Claw?

Recently got a Hyacinth Macaw, and on my server it is usually sold anywhere from 20-40k.

Wondering if the claw is worth about that price, less, more?
Seems like I get different answers from everywhere, wondering about what you guys think.

I think the Claw is worth a crap ton on any server. Its stupid hard to get as a Dig.

Yeah, some comments on the wow forums say people have seen it sell for around 20k. Some people are saying it's worth more, some people are saying that's a good price. S'why I'm asking!

I have over 300 finished Uldum Digs and aint seen it yet. Id give just about anything for that pet.

Price will vary wildly depending on the server, I think.

On my server Hyacinths tend to get about 10-12k, occasionally dipping as low as 7k.

I've seen one crawling claw on the AH and it was 35k. I've been kicking myself ever since for not buying it.

I have spies on a few servers... I've seen the claw for anything between 7k-80k it really depends on your server... the macaw I've seen for anything between 1k-30k. Everyone has a price, and it all depends on supply and demand on your server.

I bought one for 9000G on Darksorrow alliance a while ago. A day later I found a new one on AH for 6K and bought it again. Sold it for 9K again to make a bit of profit at least..

Now everyday I check AH there are like 2-3 on there for about 12-15K.

I just saw one on Azjol-Nerub (horde) for 4405g and immediately went online to find out if that was a good price. When I saw the comments that they were usually going for much more on the AH, I bought it right on the spot.

Guess i got lucky.

Regardless, that is a decent price for a crawling claw, even in today's ruined pet economy.

In my experience, on a high pop realm, at the low end I see them for 15k up to 30k. I was able to snag one for 7k....and late one saturday night...with a number of bourbons, I was talking with a really nice fellow...who desperately wanted one. My philanthropic tendencies kicked in, and I gave it to him.

He whispered me the next day, and said "you gave me a crawling claw last night...you were really drunk, if you want it back...you can have it." The fact that he offered it back made my day, and I was more then happy to let him keep it.

In my experience, the hyacinth is a tough pet to sell. I see it up for auction from 7 to 15k. The Claw can sell on any realm. On 4 or 5 of the busiest realms it will move for 10-12k. The best price I have ever seen on one was 8k.

Before paying more than 22-25k on your realm for one, contact me. If your realm is somewhat active with pets on it's AH, I could sell a Claw for gold on your realm

I found it extremely tough to sell a hyacinth macaw. I tried on and off for weeks to sell one, and finally got lucky putting it up just before the server was merged, selling it for 9500. For the most part, I think it's pretty hard to sell any pets on the AH right now.

Of course it depends on server but 40K is what they go for on our server.

I would say they're a fair trade. The claw can cost more on some servers though.

i blame the bourbon! i used to do the same thing in EQ.....find an undergeared person and help them along

I'd gladly pay 10k maaaaaaybe 15k for one. But the only one that ever pops up on my server is listed at 125k (can't believe that hasn't sold yet) so yeah. Hopefully that person will eventually realize that's crazy high, but even then it probably won't go low enough for me.
