Ok so with the holidays coming up there is usly a 1/2 of ish battle chest deal from bliz. I'm thinking of doing the Recruit-a-Friend thing for the pets. What do I have to do? 3 pets so 3 different Recruit-a-Friends?

Yep, you'll have to recruit 3 friends or accounts if you want 3 pets. You get a kind of currency to be spent in the recruit-a-friend "shop". Every account recruited gives you one of this currency, and it's possible to keep some banked. Should they introduce more rewards later on, you would then be able to get them right away.

It's from roughly 2 years ago, but I think almost everything should still apply. Let me know if you find something that's incorrect or needs updating.

The link for Step 5 probably won't work at this point, so you'll need to upgrade to a Standard Edition from the [url=https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/category/digital-games]Bnet shop[/url]. You can do this either now, or if you can wait, do it when there's a sale. Sales usually occur during the holiday season.

I don't think you need to purchase both the Standard WoW and Warlords, but I'm not 100% sure. Buying Standard WoW says it includes up to level 90 (Mists of Pandaria) -- hopefully that's enough for RAF.

Last time I did it, only the basic battlechest ($5 on sale) was required, no WoD. Plus the 2 months of game time per new "account."

They also added a little while ago a really handy button in the help options for incorrectly linked raf accounts where you can still get them linked if it didn't work out correctly (I'd put in the request asap after noticing though!)

Happened when my partner incorrectly did it :p was resolved really quick :3

A few days ago I have done this my self too, as I want the 3 pets ( also the mounts from RAF)

I had bought while ago the battle chest for less then 6 euro and also I bought the gametime for just 20 euro, when
some shops had them in sale.

What I find out was that I could NOT use the same email adress , so I needed to make a new one
( I had recruited my self 3 x same day, I did not wanted to wait )

All went ok , as the moment I was logged in after using the battle net chest key , it says that my recruit a friend was playing in that realm , so thats how I knew I recruited my self ok
Also I got in game an email saying that my recruited friend ( me ) had been recruited

Was very easy

Thanks Quint doesn't seem so bad. Now il jus ate until a sail and get my 3 pets.
