$5 Basic Wow sale - How does this work with RAF?
Thinking about a 2nd account for sniping and AH stuff anyways. Can someone fill me in? Do I have to pay for the 2nd month? Are we looking at basically ~$20 for a RAF pet or mount? $5+15?
Re: $5 Basic Wow sale - How does this work with RAF?
If I recall, it would be $5 for the game +30 Days. Then $15 for a Month (Which nets the primary account 30 Days) and then $15 for the next month (Which awards the pet/mount).

This is correct.Nelaphim wrote:If I recall, it would be $5 for the game +30 Days. Then $15 for a Month (Which nets the primary account 30 Days) and then $15 for the next month (Which awards the pet/mount).
$5 - for the Battlechest (when it's on sale)
$15 x2 - for two month's worth of game time
Total comes to $35 for one RAF pet.
If you choose to RAF yourself, your main account will receive one month free game time. So subtract $15 from the total, which would then come to $20 for one RAF pet (if you want to look at it that way).

If you have plenty of in game gold you could always buy tokens instead.

I just did this for one account, but for some reason when I made a second bnet account to do the recruiting on (first was full), I have to wait the 72 hours for trades to enable. So I just made them and upgraded them, and I'll add gametime when I get back from thanksgiving on Friday.Brokenpolyp wrote:If you have plenty of in game gold you could always buy tokens instead.

I can $5 the battlechest for RAF and 80k gold for each pet? (2 x tokens on new account US server)
If this works then each pet essentially will cost me $5 each.

Correct. There is an older thread.. somewhere.. around here that talks about this.Danneris wrote:So just to checkBrokenpolyp wrote:If you have plenty of in game gold you could always buy tokens instead.

Edit: Thought I had it bookmarked on my laptop but apparently not.. but it is on the forum although probably a ways back at this point

Yep, there's a blue post e in the regular forums confirming WoW tokens count towards the 2months of gametime. But upgrading an account digitally (aka: buying from the online store) can take up to 72 hours for in-game trading to be enabled, so you might not be able to get the tokens right off the bat.Danneris wrote:So just to checkBrokenpolyp wrote:If you have plenty of in game gold you could always buy tokens instead.
