After two days of camping & killing every paw that popped, I finally got a Spawn of Onyxia with a Breed #4 (two others with a 10 and 19). Unfortunately it is of poor quality. I do, however, have 3 flawless dragonkin stones in my inventory. Would this be a wise upgrade?
Re: Spawn of Onyxia question
If I had a dragon stone, I would upgrade mine. This pet is very effective, even in uncommon quality.
Re: Spawn of Onyxia question
breed 4 is the best imo. This is a great pet against tamers with high power and tail whip, while avoiding and healing away a lot of damage. For PvP the slow speed makes Lift-Off not nearly as good, but it's still a great pet for damage output.

I figured it was a good upgrade. I just got another dragonstone from the dailies and will occasionally try back for a 5/15 which is speed focused iirc. That will go on my pvp team.
Re: Spawn of Onyxia question
Might be a while, spawn of onyxia only comes in 3 breeds 4 (p/p) 8 (p/s) and 10 (p/b)

Breed 5 of this ability set is the Wild Crimson Hatchling. I think that's what you mean?Tantalus00 wrote:I figured it was a good upgrade. I just got another dragonstone from the dailies and will occasionally try back for a 5/15 which is speed focused iirc. That will go on my pvp team.
