What new pet would you like to see?

A tiger cub in the style of the various other cubs we alread have (Darkmoon, Panther, Winterspring, etc).

Actually, lets make that two. One in orange and one in green. I need a Tygra to finish out my Thundercats, but I also want a Cringer.

I would like to see more companion and battle pets of adult/baby various dog breeds, horses, ponies, zebra, cattle, centaurs, orcas, dolphins, walruses, pandas(yes more), fairies, gnomes, elves, leprachan, angel, with obvious talents of beast, critters, aquatic, magical, elemental talents.

Hands down, a baby naga! Plus more dog pets. Aside from those well it's hard to say, as long as their not mega difficult to get. >.>

As an insect-lover, I'm rather upset we got stuck with quite a few roach-remodels and different-skinned grasshoppers (though their animations are spot-on!) I would love for a decent-sized dragonfly pet, seeing as that seems to be the only major insect they've missed.

One new pet i would also like to see, (well pets), is more aquatic wild pets that aren't crabs, mongoose, etc. it wouldnt be that hard to put some pets like that baby shark they keep talking about in Vashj'ir. Vashj'ir is split into three different ocean biomes, so they can have fish, sharks, dolphins, squid, and any other marine life you can think of that actually live in these biomes.

This. I've wanted one of these guys as a mini-pet ever since Vanilla. There is even a midget furbolg in Felwood now, outside Timbermaw Hold, but unfortunately he is only involved in a couple of quests and can't be captured.

Loads more great suggestions here, specifically for me the kodo runt and a tiger reskin for the cub model. Come to think of it, a baby thunder lizard would be cool too.

1. meta drake whelplings: mini versions of the glory of the x raider mounts.

Rusted proto drake whelpling
Ironbound proto drake whelpling
Frostbrood vanquisher whelpling
Twilight harbringer whelpling
...

2. mini versions of other bosses and/or some NPC’s

Nozdormu
C’thun
Nefarian
Marrowgar
...

3. Other mini versions of mounts. We have the red proto drake whelpling, the onyxian whelpling and the emerald whelpling, why not add the blue proto drake whelpling too? Or a riding crane hatchling?

4. some things that just look funny and/or cute: a kitten with large eyes, a dog with sunglasses,…

Having said that, we've not seen the 'elite' pets from 5.2 datamined yet....

Draconigena: The Pandaren racial pet is a baby Crane, this might match your riding crane.
