When I logged in this morning, my characters combined honour levels bumped me up enough to be (theoretically) high enough to get the Dutiful Squire and Dutiful Gruntling.
Went to the vendor on my main (alliance) and tried to buy the Dutiful Squire. It wouldn't let me and said that I need the Prestige 7 achievement (which is no longer possible). However, I then noticed that the pet was in my bag and I could learn it regardless and it now shows in my pet log.
I then logged onto a max level horde char to do the same thing. I got the same message when I tried to buy it but this time it didn't appear in my bags and it's definitely not in my pet log.
Colour me confused.
