Hello everyone,
Not sure if this is the best place for this question but here goes:
So, some 'pets' (the 'final form' of the pet you can 'learn') have 'origination items' that can be sold on the Auction House (listed under "Companion Pets"), some don't. Is it the case that any 'pet' that has a 'sellable Companion form item' can either vary in item rarity / breed / stats?
If not, what is the point / logic behind effectively having 2 forms of the same item (and I suppose that goes for sellable items and drops [since a mob could just drop the pet directly instead of a 'intermediary item to open' for the same end result])?
Any ideas appreciated thank you for reading.
Question on 'Companion Items' and Resulting Battle Pet Variability
Re: Question on 'Companion Items' and Resulting Battle Pet Variability
Breed and Stats are the same thing. Some pets have multiple breeds, so yes those ones can vary in breed. I've never seen one that ever varied by rarity. that's always been set on pets created by item.
