Pebbles Battle Pet - Lost In The Deeps

After trying to help some friends acquire pets in game we noticed the "Pebble" battle pet & the needed quest "Lost In The Deep" has not been available for some time.
Per Wowhead the last notes show for the EU Servers had seen the quest back in 5/9/22.
US Server back in April 2022. This corresponds to notes left on other WoWhead threads where players state they have searched for the quest & have not seen it in 4 weeks or possibly more.
We have done server hopping & trial characters assistance to no avail.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Should this be something submitted to game masters?
Any useful suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
