I'm guilty of buying the lot lol. WoW is my hobby and I don't mind spending money on it. My daughter plays Warhammer and spends WAY more on that. A hobby is a hobby.

I bought the Raven pet and it appeared in my inventory within seconds.

I bought the Murloc toy, and got the code for the pet in my email. It took about 4 hours to receive it but it just showed up!

That's a bit unfair: why would not they sell just the code for the pet for the same 18 USD?
I do not need the figure and I do not want to pay much more money to ship it all around the world to Ukraine...
Maybe there is someone in the US who would like to have the toy only for the costs of the shipping?

I suppose if you only care about the digital pet and not the physical funko pop, you could sell it online or just give it away.

There's also a suprise charge of $40 upon delivery ive been hit with multiple times now cause for some reason they "express ship" without giving an option to opt out of this..
