i scrolled over a critter in the world and it said this on the stat bar, can anyone tell me what its about?

It means you have already collected 1 of that type of pet, out of the total of 3 you can have. For instance, if you held the cursor over a Tolai Hare and it said collect 1/3, you already have 1 Tolai Hare and you can get two more.
