Is the giraffe ever come in blue quality ?

I am at 102 check/figth/etc... and never hit a blue.....

It does. I got one in the wild.
Sheer luck, too. One of the only ones I've ever seen on my server.

I have most he harder rares. This way by FAR the hardest rare to find. It took me a week. The spawns are hard enough to find, and wanting a rare is going to take you much time.

I used my first beast stone on mine... My wife got a rare on her first one.

I usually dont use stone on pet you can found.
But i am really thinking about reconsidering this for this one

There are very few I will. This is one of them. Minfernal will be the other.

I was lucky enough to find my rare giraffe just this week, so they do spawn out there sometimes. Good luck finding yours!

I call it pure, dumb, luck but I happened to be leveling a new toon in the Barrens and came across the only herd of Barrens giraffes I saw there the whole time. I had a poor in my bags and the one lonely calf I came across was a blue. I killed off the adults and a few moments later I saw them re-spawn with another calf in tow. I left it alone in the hopes someone else may be as lucky.

Yes, I got a rare giraffe in the Barrens also. It took several weeks of camping (at least I could leave a low level alt there), but finally one evening it spawned. Best of luck...its not nearly as bad as getting the Minifernal or the Scourged Whelping!

Yep I agree. Giraffe Calf got my very first beast stone. The common one I caught is to date the ONLY one I have ever seen so it turned out to be a good decision!

i got mine are a rare battle pet right after a server restart was around 3 on the map and one happend to be a rare nearly spit my morning coffee allover and screen

now moving one next zone..... perhaps irradiated roach or the legendary coral ader

My Mom got the blue giraffe her first time farming for it.

I only have the uncommon one. I don't know if I will waste my beast stone on it or not.

Same for the giraffe, but I've been having similar struggles finding and taming a rare version of Black Lamb. I'm not sure if anyone has had more luck at this than me, but I'm spending so much time in Elwynn Forest! :S As far as I know this is also the only spot this pet spawns?

I can't get a rare Black Lamb either. It is, indeed, only in Elwynn....and it gets a little old, to say the least, to camp a level 1 area.

This is another pet that it seemed using a target macro helped a great deal. Still it took an hour for me to fine a rare.
