killing vs. battling
I am trying to get a tiny bog beast to spawn. Does it make a difference if i just kill the battle pets around rather than actually battle them?

Killing them will cause new pets to respawn, and is a known method to force certain pets to pop.
I just ask, from one pet hunter to another, you be mindful of any others in the area looking for pets

This one was rather elusive for me too. After several unsuccessful attempts to camp the area with my main, I took an alliance DK there on another server and parked him there. Eventually got the pet by just checking each day before I logged in to my main.
Never found a rare though, ended up stoning him.

While this pet does not require it to be raining in wetlands for it to spawn, I found i had much better luck nabbing a rare while it was raining as there were many more spawns up for some reason.

What I did for pets like Tiny Bog Beast, Tiny Twister, Lofty Libram, etc. is check each morning where they spawn, fighting any that are up. Eventually you'll find a rare of each. I had a list of about 7-8 I needed and just thought of it as a daily quest.
