There are raiding guilds, rp guilds, pvp guilds, social guilds. Why not pet collecting guilds? A guild is a place to play with like-minded folks, where it's easier to discuss, trade, help each other, and basically just fool around I reckon.I haven't joined one myself because I don't really have time for more alts, but I totally see the appeal.

or a very relaxed raiding guild... try suggesting to a progression oriented RL that the team should focus on that particular boss because he drops a pet and you might be given weird looks... just sayin' ...
