eBay TCG pets

I have been watching eBay for at least 2 years now, almost daily. I have seen in the last week a massive drop in TCG pet prices. Spectral Tiger Cubs for as low as $120. Ethereal Soul-Trader for $130. Dragon Kite $100. Tyrael $400.

These are all Buy It Now prices. The actually bidding on cards seems to be lowering as well. Ending bids way under what the normal is. I don't know rather the price drops are collectors hurrying to get rid of cards they have been holding on to due to the new TCG release, or what...but this is certainly happening with quit a few pets and mounts on eBay. I myself bought a Hippogryph Hatchling for $30 today.

Would it be ok for me to make a another post "eBay deals of the day", and link cheap TCG pets for others?

I haven't really noticed a particular drop in prices on ebay EU yet. However, if prices are dropping in the US already then thats a really good sign, given that the Reign of Fire cards are only released officially tomorrow.

These prices are simply due to the release of the Reign of Fire TCG set and its abundance of high-end loot. I attended the sneak peek event for the set yesterday. Each player was given 6 packs to make a deck out of. There was 14 of us. So thats about 2 and a half boxes worth of packs. Out of those 84 packs, one Amani Dragonhawk, one Ghostly Charger and one Wasteland Tallstrider was pulled along with several other lesser valued loots. I only got a Landro's Giftbox.

That's a lot for a cub. I got one for something like $20 some years ago when it was still in production and not as rare or desirable. It was before the pet got moved from personal storage to mounts and pets UI, saving us big hoarder lots of space.
