I saw on the forums, someone has 2 Dancing Water Skimmers named Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. I thought that was great!

My own pet names are less interesting. Mostly relating to the pet or it's rarity.

Arctic Fox Kit (Rare caught P/S) ...Omgluckyfind (after weeks of searching for snow storms, I found it 5 mins before a server restart and my battle kept crashing, when I finally did capture it, I had about 10 seconds before the restart and took a screenshot and got dc'd)
Gilnean Raven...Nevermore (for Poe and it's move)
Corehound Pup...Fluffy
Minfernal...Omgluckyme (got pulled out of the battle by some overzealous PvP'er right after capture)
Sporling Sprout...Fun Guy
Fungal Moth (rare caught)...Fun Gal

I followed a bit of a Sheldon Big bang theory and all of my cats are now members of the Manhattan project including mister Oppenheimer and Mister Teller....I also had to name my turtles and sewer rat after the ninja turtles....

I generally like to name my pets after people that I have known for a long time, or something significant for me, there's also a few real random ones including Mister Hubert Cumberdale and Margery Stuart Baxter (not sure how many here will remember/know salad fingers xD)

I have a fair number of "Disney" pets -- Todd the fox, Miko the raccoon, Percy the pug, etc. I want a hound to name Copper and swine to name Pumba!!
