I named my Dun Morogh Cub after Hope the black bear today. She will be left as a level one.

Hope was part of a bear research center that studies black bears in the wild by putting den cams in some of the wild black bears winter dens and putting GPS tracking collars on the study bears. Hope's birth was witnessed online by many and shown in many children's classses around the world. She was a fiesty independent wild bear cub, and millions watched her grow up online reared by her mother Lily. She kept pulling off her collar that taged her as a research bear. As a 20 month old, she was shot and killed by a hunter at a bear baiting station. Many upset Hope followers sent letters to the DNR. The DNR then revoked the research center's bear collaring permit because they didn't want to deal with another "celebrity bear" getting shot.

A lot of mine are somewhat obscure references, but one I'm fond of that isn't too subtle is my Darkmoon Glowfly, called Buzz Lightrear.

Can't think of many that I've seen on other people's teams, but will keep this thread in mind.
