Picking which Celestial first come 5.4?

Hmm, looks like I made the minority pick here, heh.

I went with Yu'la, mainly cuz the Celestial Blessing ability seems really interesting to me. I was looking at things from a PvP strategist perspective; the Blessing should help against those pesky Swap/Minefield teams...and in general against most anything else, IMO.

I was a bit disconcerted to read about its low health though. Hopefully it won't get ripped to shreds in PvP. I'll probably get Xu'fu next, as Feed is way too good to overlook.

Harmonious Porcupette will have Yu'la's Celestial Blessing ability as well.

Wowhead lists the Porcupette as:

It seems I chose my first Celestial... Poorly. I took Chi-Chi because it's the one that gave me the most trouble in the Tournament itself.

I guess I'll get Xu-Fu in three weeks.

Not that the others aren't, but I've got Crazy Cat Lady already.

Probably Chi-Chi last, tossup on which of the other two I get next since I desire them both equally.

It's no pushover, but with some preparation it's not so so bad.

Since it's a weekly, and the very first time you beat it you get one of them as a pet... Don't put it off like everything else

I got Xu-Fu today. I had the Crazy Cat lady achievment already, but whats a crazy cat lady without xu-fu?

But next week it would be a difficult choice. yu-la or zao.... chi-chi will be the last one.

picked Yu'la first to match my wings and because my guild tank picked Zao (my fav).

Overall, having Zao and Yu'la's combat abilities tested now....neither of them is an outstanding choice. Zao could definitely hit harder for a beast. Stundted Shardhorn and Clefthoof Runt are by far better beast choices in comparrison. Yes Zao has wish, but sacrificing a lot of dmg (to me) is not really worth it.

Yu'la.....terrible battle pet. She can not hold her own. Her only saving grace is Celestial Blessing. You put that out with 2 powerhouse pets and it becomes pretty frustrating for your opponent. Yu'la's Celestial Blessing and Fly make her annoying, but again, she's got terrible survivability.

Yeah, being P/S is definitely holding Zao back, and not having that well scaling moves. Yu'las hp is just too low, and her signature move is on a better pet in [pet]Harmonious Porcupette[/pet]. But what about Chi-chi. thoughts on it?

I mean Xu Fu seems to be the undeniable winner here, but it's so common a pet now. Everyone having a Xu Fu creates almost no diversity among celestial pet knowledge for the community out of the gate.

I'm just about to level my Chi-Chi as we speak. I also chose Chi-Chi because I wanted to lose my mind when battling in the tournament against Chi-Chi.

I picked Xu-Fu first, due to all the talk about how good he is and also to get the Crazy Cat title. Don't know what I'm going to pick next, just that Yu'la will be last (don't really like her model).

I think Chi-Chi makes a worthy second pet. Her combo of Fire Quils and Wild Magic looks powerful, as well having evasion.

Had considered Zao, but it seems he is underwhelming compared to Xu Fu.
