So while I collected pets, it was to track the 400 "unique" pets achievement progress. This tracked the individual pet, ignoring any duplicates. However, if you open your pet journal, it doesn't track pets that way. It tracks them including duplicates. While both are nice, once you get over 400 pets, you don;t seem to be able to track your total by unique pets anymore, only by total in the journal. Anyone know a way to track total unique pets over 400?
Also, pre-mop, it was nice to head to the AH, click usable and misc, and the pets you needed would pop up if someone had found something you needed and was selling it. Now, it posts every pet on the AH that you don't have 3 of. Anyone know any way to only show the pets on the AH you don't even have 1 of? Again, this is about the unique pet vs. total pet situation. Any help would be great.
total pets vs. total unique pets. also, AH question.
Re: total pets vs. total unique pets. also, AH question.
Blizzard doesn't seem to have all the bugs worked out. Right now, achievements like Littlest Pet Shop and That's a Lot of Pet Food aren't showing up in the armory at all (they were showing 0 pets before they completely disappeared). Last I checked, they weren't in game either (can't check right now because of maintenance). It's been this way for a while. I assume they are working on it.
The AH pet listings are difficult to deal with in a number of ways. I really don't expect Blizzard to fix any of it, they never seem to make the auction house a priority. (Soothsayer's Runes were in the wrong category for all of Cataclysm.) I can only hope that a pet add on, or an AH add on, will eventually make it a little easier to deal with auctioned pets.
