I had a Soul Trader once... But I traded it for a Viscous Horror.
I did it with tears in my eyes, but I thought, I can always buy another Soul Trader somewhere, but the Horror may never appear again on the AH after the next patch.

How long did it take you to farm for the gold?

I bought mine recently for 100k, which was 2/3 the proceeds from selling two engr mounts. I liked the trade.

I had a similar thing happen to me about two years or so ago before being able to trade cross realm, I was on a rather quiet server and decided to check out the Alliance trade chat/AH (I'm a hordie) and found someone trying to sell an ethereal. Long story short, it seemed alliance didn't like pets as I managed to get him for 40k! I swear I had never been so excited over a pet.

I'm so happy for you I'M almost in tears! Congratulations. I can easily understand, especially the gold bit, as I'm a person who never has more than 3 or 4k gold. I buy too many pets and mounts for that.
