Hrm, I purchased the Digital Deluxe. I recieved the lvl 90 boost, but no pet or mount.

Edit: Scratch that. Just arrived, just a little late.
And the pet is indeed cageable.

It would not be fair to remove it. I don't know it just seems funny to me.

Confirmed that the caging of the Dread Hatchling is a bug. A fix is coming shortly. It's inadvisable to trade/sell it in-game.

Word is that people who purchased the caged pets cannot summon them if they do not have the CE. This is exactly what happened last patch to pets and mounts purchased in-game for gold,illegally.

There were many, many examples of this, some having purchased the codes for these items months ago. The customer service forums were overflowing with posts about these, but there were no exceptions made as far as the consequences. Namely, the items were gone for good and there were no refunds for any gold spent.

Now, there may have been people that didn't understand what was going on today, but I find it hard to believe that the vast majority didn't have some inkling that this was a bug. if they lost in-game gold over it, it's a hard lesson, but certainly one that would be hard to forget.

I was wondering what was going to happen to all of the duplicate Dread Hatchlings floating around after the fix. This makes a lot of sense and would pretty much make any of the hatchlings that were traded/sold invalid.

I just ordered mine and got it in game, and you can not cage it. Guessing the fix is already in place.

Awesome. I typically get the physical CE, because I like the extras (mousepad, &ct.), so I not only have to wait to get this pet, but wait to even pre-order it through Amazon...

There doesn't appear to be an achievement associated with the Dread Hatchling at this time. It's possible that it'll be implemented at a later date, though.

No feat of strenght for the pet, strangely so. Ive dropped a ticket about it.

I gave the single clone I got to a friend and he is still able to use it. And Im on EU side.

Update: The spare Dread Hatchling disappeared from my friend's petbook after a full shutdown of WoW.

anyone know how I'd go about getting WoD delux edition? Can't afford it atm but I don't know if you can gift it yet, so unsure how I'd trade for it.
