Due to cross-realm technology server won't matter, just faction. That's why they want your battle tag..so they can invite you to the group and you will be phased over to their server for the event. I did this awhile back when someone was so kind and it worked great. Just don't leave group before you get your pet and are satisfied. Enjoy and good luck
