3000 would work for me that allows the original concept of three of each (limited to one in some cases) and allow battlers to have the pets they want without going over the three each and keep them (should Breeding come to pass.) Again it doesn't effect anyone but pet battlers... and as far as the AH... thats where I look for cheap common pets to turn to rares, level and if I decide I don't like that breed I sell it for more than I paid for it. BUT raising the number of pets won't effect the ones that flood the market, they do that by going to vendors then putting them up on the AH doing nothing to them before putting them on the AH. I bought a black Kingsnake for I think 30 copper.. I used a stone (pet tokens) to make it rare I raised it to 25 then sold it for 500 gold. and that was cheaper by far than anyone else was selling it for (The next lowest price was 1800 gold.)
