I noticed there are no ducks, unless I have overlooked my pet journal and have missed them. So I have put together some ideas for a duck pet.
Abilities:
Ugly Duckling - Blinds enemy pet for one round.
Flock - Same thing a chicken's flock does, but with ducklings.
Swan Song - Opposite of Unholy Ascension. It sacrifices your duck to increase the healing received by your pets by 25% for 9 rounds.
Cleansing Rain and Healing Rain - Because it's a duck. Gotta include both flying and aquatic abilities.
Peck or Quills. This one really is up for grabs
Fly By - (Basically a skunk's stench) Reduces the enemy team's hit chance by 25% for 4 rounds. Anyone who has been around ducks should know what this ability looks like.

I'd also like to hear from the community. I enjoy reading your ideas for proposed pets and abilities. Don't be afraid to be ridiculous with your ideas. The more bizarre, the funnier! Imagination people!

I just can't figure out for the life of me how Blizzard missed a Moth Mount with all the moths they added into the game in MoP. You would have thought it was a no-brainer. Who dropped that ball?

The one pet I think would have been really cool, and plenty of other people shave made posts about it, is a mini-me pet, that looks just like whatever toon I'm on at the time.

Of course WHY Blizzard didn't do this is more obvious... Warriors, DKs, and Hunters would be OP; and all the other class-pets would be weak.

I was talking to my hubby just a couple days ago about the terrible lack of ducks ingame. How weird is that! Please send this to bliz, and let's hope we get a duck

People have been complaing about the lack of ducks since TBC (maybe even before)....

I want a miniature female Goblin. Gnomes get both genders and there is one male Goblin, but being that I play female Goblin's exclusively, I would love to have an army of them for pet battles.

I can't believe Tamer Ashlei's Pixiebell isn't a pet we can have by now.

No ducks?!?! Those poor pandas get no peking duck I guess

As far as things I haven't seen at all that I'd love to have as a pet, I would like a badger.
Its moves would probably be similar to the rabbits and marmots we already have... It would definitely have to have burrow!

Would be nice, as long as they were done properly. Imagine if we got ducks but they were designed by the person who did those hippo pets that look like they were based on a 3 year old's drawing.

Does seem to be a(nother?) glaring omission. However, the abilities have to include a quack of some sort, as either team buff, or enemy debuff - ducks have a vicious quack!

ps: it did occur to me that there might not be any ducks, because of the possibility of people abusing the 'rhyming potential' ...

Ducks, geese, swans, even a loon would be fun. And maybe a wood pecker! I know other popular requests are a ferret (not the otter model--a real ferret model!) and a pony or baby horse. I would love to see a badger and perhaps some different breeds of cat (model differences, not just recolords). A Persian to go with my pug would make me very happy. A Manx would be cute, too! And a mini-lynx would make my belf heart very happy. So would a lynx mount, on that note. Just flood me anything but moths, WoW!
