I just found both relatively painlessly (left a character logged out in each zone last night). Took me about 10-15 minutes per zone. Aviana's Feather is amazing for this, by the way. Remember: there will only be one Crimsonwing Moth up at a time in Talador and one Sapphire Firefly up at a time in Spires of Arak, however, it has been reported the respawn timers are instant (source: [url]https://twitter.com/Muffinus/status/604060177260625920[/url]).

I'm still looking for both of these myself, but I've seen a few coordinates posted so far both here and on wowhead.
Edit: found my moth at 37.0, 63.7 in Talador!
Edit: found my firefly at 45, 34 in Spires!

Some people have been reporting that the pet simply replaces one of the current respawned pets (kinda like how the Spineclaw Crab on TI replaces one of the normal elite crabs).

FWIW - i managed to get both tonight! (figured everybody will be off in Tanaan so less competition ) I don't have a coordinate reader, but I can tell you that the Crimsonwing Moth I found in the Court of Souls, and the Sapphire Firefly I found just northwest of Pinchwhistle Gearworks.

I got each one after about an hour of riding around the zone hitting a target macro.
Sapphire firefly at 55,32
Crimsonwing at 53,34

Both are primary pets only. They're the Unborn Val'kyr version 2.0, except there should always be one spawned.

My strategy was to follow the roads in these two zones and back track to cover all roads. Sapphire took me a bit longer to find as I kept skipping one road in the middle of the spires running north-south and that is where it was.

Sorry I didn't check coordinates when i found them but I think people shouldn't have too much trouble with these if they are respawning straight away and easy to see on the map from the roads

These are my notes from the PTR. I added some coords now that I have had a bit of time to look on live, but that part is unfinished

Sapphire Fly => P/B, H/B, H/S

1. Due east of Crow's crook and slightly south...just north of a small pond north side of the road
2. Due south of V in Bloodmane Valley at base of mountain. Far west of crows crook and slightly north
3. Due east of Southport (halfway between texts for SP and BMVal). South of road
4. North of "V" in Veil Anzu, South of small pond (57,50)

Crimsonwing Moth => H/S, B/B

1. Near Felbark (due south of Taralune) (46,85)
2. North of Auch, E of Court of Souls text, SW of a cave on the map

Just found a Crimsonwing Moth west of Tuurem. I'll post a screenshot when I can get it uploaded.

I found a Crimsonwing Moth at 51.8, 39.9 (Just off the road between Shattrath and Fort Wrynn, at the Arch of Sha'tar). Lucked out big time - it was base rare P/S.

I also found a Sapphire Firefly at 45.7, 62.0 (Just off the road near the fork between Southport and Bloodmane Valley). Not so lucky, but that is what stones are for!

I used the flight paths and just flew back and forth across the zone while looking at the minimap until I spotted them. I found both of them within about 10 minutes each.

Thank you for the list of way points. It made it easy to get the 2 new pets I thought would take forever to get. It only took about 10 minutes to get them both, and most of that was flying.

Flightpath method was great, took me not even 10 minutes in Talador, slightly longer in Arak. Both poor...but hey, that's what stones are for, right?

Got my Crimsonwing Moth here 61.5, 55.7

I was able to find both of these by flying from flight path to flight path and just hovering the cursor over my mini map to see what each pet was.
Both pets found on 2nd time flying around the zone. Each took less than 20 minutes.

Easiest way I found to get the Crimsonwing Moth is to do a search on Royal Moth on WoWhead, and go to the locations on that map. :p The Sapphire Firefly was a little easier since there isnt a bunch of open space, you can just follow the roads and spot them.

I think Arji was asking what a target macro meant. They are real, capturable battle pets. The target macro doesn't make you auto hit them. Just make a macro that does something like /tar crimson wing /hug or something like that so you know you found it.
