I've opened over 230 fel pet bags and have duplicates of all the pets except I have yet to get a seaborne spore. I read somewhere that they are no longer dropping after the first day/week. Is that true, or has someone gotten one to drop recently?

I am in the same boat for the bell....
i have opened 500+ bags and no bell yet....
i religiously doing them on all my alt, got multiple of others , but not the bell

i have zangar and calf left to trade if there is anybody willing to end this nigthmare for me

Edit : BTW did not get any pet in the last week

I have an extra bell, but need a Seaborne Spore. Now up to 250 plus bags and no Spore. Please let this nightmare end.

No one i know has had one drop this week, and i talk to several collectors in game every weekend, i have had 1 bell and 3 zangar spores drop from around 30 or so bags. One collector i know took over 100 bags to get her first pet to drop. Seaborne spore is on AH for 40k plus, others are less than 5k now.

Thanks for the update. I am trying to decide if I should just wait until I hear it is dropping again. Then again I can just delude myself that I am farming the 500 pet token toy as an excuse.

Checked the Wowhead forums and someone reported getting a Seaborne 4 days ago. My guess is that it's just very low droprate.

No idea why Seaborne seems to be a lot lower than the other pets. It's going for 35k+ on my server, and the others only rarely hit 5k. And, no I haven't gotten one yet. At least it's not just me.

So I have that to look forward to; I haven't hit the 100 bag mark yet and haven't seen a pet drop. I stopped doing them all religiously, mostly hit them up in passing while I'm running around chasing dailies and/or rares. Certain ones I just don't bother with because they're more nuisance than I care for. At least I can get them to drop from the AH, and pretty cheap at that.

Thanks for the info. I will keep farming. It took me well over 100 bags before my first pet dropped, but then they started dropping more frequently. Guessing it is going to take me well over 500 bags then to get this spore.

Still no fire pup in my garrison or lanticore despite running UBRS everyday. I can't wait for this expansion to end.

It's typical of Blizzard to vary drop rates among collections of this sort of thing which, you must admit, makes the game more interesting. Checking AH is a good way to get an idea of relative rarity of each. On Stormrage AH tonight (high-pop, mostly Alliance realm) this is breakdown on prices for Level 1 pets:

1,900g Zangar Spore
3,320g Periwinkle Calf
5,550g Nightmare Bell
14,200g Seaborne Spore

I got it like week ago. Actualy, I got all of them - 1 SS, 1 NB, 2 PC, 5 ZC, but already sold NB, both PC and half ZC. Thanks for posts like this, I didn't sell Seaborne.

So far, 3 Zangar Spore and none of the others, I admit it is kind of frustrating.

I've had a second seaborne spore drop on the 9th or 10th, but as I'm on the EU servers you guys in the US might have bugs that we don't have over here. On a somewhat related note: I haven't had any pets at all in the last 135 bags I opened.

Edit: Judging by the undermine journal (for the EU realms) there's a significant lower number of seaborne spores across the EU auction houses than other pets, even Nightmare Bells.

Not going to lie--I would differently about the lack-of-seaborne situation if it wasn't for a spore. I think the spores are both ugly and useless in battle. I'd be much more willing to put in extra effort/gold for a cute or burly pet! *sigh* Still gotta catch 'em all.

It drops. I finally got my first one the other day and took a screenshot because it sure took forever.

I have yet to see this or the bell via bags. I bought them from the AH, because, well, PET! I do keep doing a bunch of the bags daily on my two toons in the jungle. No set pattern, I just do the ones I cross while doing the other quests.

I have gotten 4 of the other sporte and 4 calves so far though.

So 7 zangar spores, 3 periwinkle calves, 2 bells, and finally a seaborne spore today. Finally...

I have only done the bags for two days (30 bags total) and have gotten 1 Seaborn Spore and 2 Nightmare Bells... I guess RNG is with me!

...after reading this, I feel now rather fortunate that my Seaborne Spore was the very first pet I got on the first set of bags on patch day! =/

The hardest one for me to nab was the Periwinkle Calf. Took me forever, than just yesterday I got two on the same day.

I'm swimming in Zangar Spores, and have about 5 bells as well.
