Hello Everyone,

I am posting today on behalf of a friend who has recently began pet battling. He successfully captured a Frostfur Rat, upgraded, and leveled the pet. Every time he summons this pet, the green pet battle paw icon is above the frostfur rat's head. He has attempted on his alts summoning the frostfur rat results the green pet battle paw icon still present. We were wondering if this is a known bug and if there is a solution. He is not to excited to get rid of the pet cause he used a stone to upgrade it etc. etc.

What an odd glitch! I haven't seen/heard of this one before.

Is your friend using any addons (specifically pet-related ones)? Try disabling those and then logging in to summon the pet. If the paw doesn't show up, it's one of his addons adding the paw onto the pet.

If it continues to show up, it might be a graphical error on Blizzard's end.

I just saw this for the first time yesterday as well! I believe it was with a rat but cannot confirm if it was the frostfur rat. Sorry I cannot provide help but thought I would let you know you are not the only one seeing it!

I can't help but now all I want to know is if any third person can tame them ;D

had the same thing with that frostfur rat on my dk!
don't remember if its possible to fix it because i never have it out with me
I'm pretty sure its a glitch don't worry about it

I apologize for the delay in updating the post. He does not run add-ons. He nor anyone else could engage in another pet battle. After about a week maybe a week and half, the graphical glitch has been fixed. So it appears to be a harmless glitch that eventually gets fixed. Thank you for all the input! Happy pet hunting! <3
