Wonderous Wisdomball - Kirin Tor emissary on vacation?

Has anyone else noticed that the Kirin Tor emissary stopped showing up? I haven't seen it in more than 15 days now (can't remember how many days before 7.1 patch it last showed up).
I haven't seen any comments about it yet, wondering if I missed something. Still need more attempts at getting the Wonderous Wisdomball!

Until 3 weeks ago, the order was random each week, but every faction emissary still came up once a week - it was just the order they came up in that was random, not a matter of whether or not they would show up at all.
I can't say for certain they haven't changed this, but there was nothing in the patch notes and Kirin Tor appears to be the only one impacted.

For some reason blizz has reduced the odds of Kirin Tor emissary showing up
I thought they were fun. Getting this pet is going to be much harder now. I snagged one on the AH for 85k before more people realize this
There is an official blizz response at warcraftdevs twitter
I can't post links

Yes, this. WarcraftDevs posted that they decreased the frequency of the Kirin Tor emissaries in 7.1 because, quote, "(they) think they're great quests, but don't want to over-do it and make players tired of them; there's a lot of Legion left!"

It seems Kirit Tor emissary quests are a bit less frequent in 7.1.
Wowhead reported a blue tweet stating just that.

This was addressed at the post-Blizzcon Q&A, per MMO-Champ:
- Kirin Tor quests were adjusted to be slightly less common. They just haven't popped recently.
- They were popping up twice in a given week, which felt too frequent.
- These are quirky non-traditional content.
- If they continue to not appear the team will bump back up the rate. The goal is twice every three weeks or so.

Well boo hiss. I liked the mazes a lot! The floating bubble challenges were a little annoying, I guess. The sabers were fun, too. And I LOVED that you could use the rep on anyone. Hopefully they'll at least make it once a week. They were a nice bit of variety compared to the other dailies.

Yes of course the actual emissary quest I hit with every 110 (until I get the pet that is) I have, is set so it appears to never spawn.
Why try and be clever Blizzard, if you want it every three weeks, make it every 3 weeks.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to call them jerks, but I have been tweeting @warcraftdevs and @muffinus regularly this week to make the point that decreasing the emissary bag has severely hurt pet collectors. I would encourage all of you to do the same to drive the point home.

I'm starting to think that Flying will be introduced before we see these guys again
Blizzard has made them 'special' and soon they will be part of WOW folklore and people will post 'Remember when' posts and people will stand around with the ball out and others will stare in wonder.

For the past couple of days there have been Kirin Tor world quests showing up, but no Emissary. So if the point was to stop people getting bored of the quests, why are they showing up 'willy nilly' and getting my hopes up that the Emissary might be on his/her way.? I had 4 toons to do the WQ on and never saw that pet, so yes, they had better up the drop rate!

I'm now tweeting daily. Trying to get #KirinTorEmissaryCrisis going, for what it's worth.

Good news - They are up today
Bad News (for me) - The two quests currently up are both Like the Wind ones and I have spent enough time trying to complete one of these already.
Happy hunting

Oh actually jerks is a NICE word for what they really are!!!! I held back! I find out today the new kir tor tests are the worst ever (Like the Wind) and not possible for a clicker like myself..................I HATE whoever is in charge of pets this expansion they made it SO NOT FUN!

Why not just call them "elitist jerks"? I guess WatcherDev would prefer that.
