Apparently the item that starts the quest to obtain the [pet]Vengeful Chicken[/pet] drops in Normal & Heroic Waycrest Manor.

Defeating the kitchen staff spawns a lootable roasted chicken (looks like the [pet]Plump Turkey[/pet] after it kills itself on fire). I think only one person is eligible for loot, but it despawns very quickly, so I would keep a close eye out. It's not a 100% chance to spawn. I'm not sure if it only drops when the Waycrest kitchen WQ is up, or if it drops any time you kill the normal kitchen staff.

If you get the quest, please post whether or not the WQ was active, what difficulty the dungeon was on, and if anyone else could loot it. Thanks!

I have run Normal four times, one person said they got the quest, I was never able to click on the roasted chicken when it hit the ground, no matter how quickly I clicked.

Also two Heroic runs, one where I never saw a chicken, and another where I was unable to click it. Will try more today.

At the moment, yes it's shareable.

It's probably worth putting together a full group of collectors who need this pet so everyone can have access to the quest.

Did Waycrest on Normal with the WQ up. No one in the group saw the chicken drop. I wonder if it is random

We did a WarcraftPets group for it a couple of times and it doesn't look like it's a 100% chance.

I just got it. It seems to be a random chance. I've done it like 7+ times, 2 times heroic. Got it during a random Heroic queue trying to get my ilvl up. It'll be a clickable item "Delicious Chicken" as opposed to sometimes it's just "Raw Chicken" that will give you a debuff when you stand on it. Tried to ask in chat if anyone other than me got it and I got no response there.

This is sharable, and I have it on a very obscure alt and will keep it there forever (already collected the pet on my main). This is alliance side. If you want the pet (and you probably have to have a 110 for it), hit me up on [redacted] and I'll share the quest with you if I'm not busy. All you have to do is fly to Booty Bay to turn it in.

I did the same for EU-Alliance.

I did a random normal dungeon with the world quest up and it did drop for me. There was just one drop, haven't seen it drop for anyone else since.
