I got a mighty [pet]black-kingsnake[/pet]

Got a [pet]Yellow Moth[/pet]...

Back in Legion, the first 3 transmutes yielt two [pet]Transmutant[/pet] and one [pet]Thaumaturgical Piglet[/pet]. Needless to say, I was ecstatic, thinking it'd give new pets all the time! And then the vendor pets started appearing... and after several weeks of equally questionable results, I learned to cope with disappointment.

I'd lie if I said I wasn't hoping for a [pet]Baby Crawg[/pet] from my first BfA Meat to Pet, but to be honest, finding a Moth instead hardly caught me by surprise. It is what it is.

Maybe next week! Or month! ...or year...

Just got a 'Wind-Up Frog' but when I try to learn it, I get 'The Spell is not Available to you.'

At least with the new xpac specific changes to professions it was easy to get a 110 alt started on alchemy and skill up to Meat to Pet. I have 2 that I started yesterday so we shall see...

I did it with all my alts (12 of them)
i Opened 13 meat to pet items but no new pet yet.

All the new pets are currently bugged and you can't learn them. Opened a ticket about it they said they were aware of the bug and to just keep trying to learn it occasionally.

Albino snake for me.

Sigh.

Just got my main alchemist started on a transmute this morning. I guess I should drag my other alchemists along and get them going as well. More chances for common vendor pets, heh.

I only have four alchemists (@ Rayjin, THIRTEEN alchemists, wow!) but as of yesterday I have them all doing this transmute. Figured I'd better get started if I want the pets by the end of the expac!

Today's patch will fix the issue with the pets.

Pet Battles

The following items can now correctly be used to grant you their associated battle pets: Baby Crawg, Wind-up Frog, Ball of Tentacles, Undulating Blue Sac.
Inland Croaker battle pets now have the correct Sticky Goo level 20 ability.

I added 5 more alchemists with a few more that need just herbs to level to 50 (stupid slow AH).

Wish they would switch out the random pets that you get from it. I have so many yellow moths I literally have nothing to do with them.

So not changing professions particularly but changed a horde miner to alchemy to get a horde alchemist. 3 total alchemist now.

7 attempts so far, 7 vendor pets.

I've only complete this once so far. I guess to make up for my luck on Island Expeditions I got a common Slippy.

I just opened up 3 more (have three alchemy) and guess what.....same old crap. 0-9 so far.

Did my first one and got a [pet]Nursery Spider[/pet]

0 for 9 so far

Blue Dragonhawk Hatchling this week.

Glad I only have 1 Alchemist so the disappointment isn't so bad. If I had 9 Alchemists... I dunno.
